I’ve always consisted myself a animal lover extraordinaire! I enjoy spending time with animals and it’s only fitting that I made a career out of it. :)

I got my official start working with animals in the veterinary field. I was as a veterinary technician for more than 8 years, working in small animal practices. I started providing in-home pet care for some of my favorite hospital clients and I loved it. I got to spend time getting to know some amazing animals on their own terms; indulging in all their individual quirks, traits and attitudes! I did love working in the veterinary field and feel that my experiences there paved the way for me to start my own pet care business. In 2011 I decided to make a full time commitment to Deluxe Pet Care (And it’s been fantastic!).

I take my work very seriously and want both you and your pet to be totally satisfied with my service. For your greater peace of mind, I am insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. In addition to my training and experience as a veterinary technician, I am also certified with the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid.

I am a supporter of animal rescue and animal health organizations. I spent years volunteering for feral cat population control, assisting in TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) programs. I also volunteered for a local shelter, helping to get some wonderful kitties a second chance and find their forever homes.

I share my home with my wonderful boyfriend/partner, Matt, and our 3 (three!) fabulous rescued kitties. Deluxe (now you know who is really in charge of my business!) is handsome, fluffy and quite the trouble maker! Miss Monkey is demure and classy. Hunter is the new comer and the old man of the house. He is our ‘failed foster’ from Pets In Need and we wouldn’t have it any other way! They are my loves and make me smile every single day, either with their ridiculousness or their cuteness! I couldn’t even imagine them not being a part of my life.
